Stalls Guide

The Stalls is one large, deep block of seating with no central aisle. Rows run from seats 1-18, aside from a much shorter rows at the front and in rows N-P. A good rake ensures a clear and unobstructed view, even from the rear of the Stalls.

The Dress Circle overhang begins around Row J, but does not affect sight-lines until Row N, where it cuts off the top of the stage. For many productions this does not obstruct much of the action.

The best seats are located towards the centre of the Stalls and as many seats in this section are similarly priced, the best value for money is in Row D and Row J.

Legroom is adequate throughout the auditorium, although those who need extra legroom should sit at the ends of each row.

Bars

There is no bar available on this level. An at-seat service is available for patrons who are unable to access the bars.

Toilets

Women’s toilets are located in the Stalls and Men’s are up in the Dress Circle. There are no adapted facilities in the theatre, but patrons are able to use the Adelphi Theatre or Palace Strand Hotel facilities.
