Stalls Guide
The Stalls is a relatively intimate section, made up from one single block of seating. Seats are head-on, causing views to be extremely good throughout the auditorium due to the good rake. Rows reach up to 30 seats in the centre, with the best views available in the centre of rows.
The front rows are often sold at a discounted price due to it being very close to the orchestra pit. A high stage also means that audience members in these rows may have to crane their necks. It can also mean that footwork is lost in musicals, so it is best to sit a few rows back for the same price.
The Dress Circle overhang creates a problem from Row N and back and cuts off the very top of the stage. The rear Stalls can also be affected by speakers and technical equipment. Seats around the sound desk should also be avoided as it can be distracting.
The best seats can be found in the centre of the middle rows.
Bars
The Stalls Bar must be accessed via the stairs and there is no level access.
Toilets
Women’s toilets are located on this level, with Men’s toilets up one short flight of stairs.
