This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://seatplan.com (the “Site”).

Personal information we collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
You are also given the option to add additional personal information to your account to form a public profile, including gender, date of birth, height, Twitter handle, and an “About me” description. We refer to this information as your “Profile”.
You are also able to add reviews and review photos that are associated with your Profile and are displayed throughout the Site
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We also sometimes use this information to help target relevant advertising in through paid advertising networks such as Facebook or Google Adwords.
We display the public information you list on your Profile, such as your username, gender, age, height, Twitter handle and about me details when someone views content or pages related to your Profile. The content you upload to your profile, including reviews, review images and avatar are also displayed throughout the Site.
We use your email address to send you account notifications, SeatPlan updates and marketing emails on new shows and offers. We will only use this information if you have given us your consent. We also use your email address to occasionally send you important account related emails in order to fulfil a contract or agreement with you. These will generally be when you have taken an action on your account that generates an email (such as resetting your password) or as part of an order (such as a booking confirmation email).
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell any of your personal information to any third party.
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

We use Facebook Pixel in order to understand your website usage in relationship to our marketing on Facebook. We also share your Personal Information with our ticketing suppliers, who include Encore Tickets, London Theatre Direct and Ingresso, when you proceed to checkout as part of ticket purchase. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Your rights
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, exported, not be processed, or deleted. You also have the right to object to our use of your personal information. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you make a request under your rights, we will fulfil this request within 30 days. Deletion requests will remove the personal data you have entered as part of your account, including your email address, password, postal address, telephone number, height, Twitter handle and gender. Your theatre reviews, photos and past transactions will continue to be stored, however they will be anonymised and not linked to any personally identifiable information.
Data retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Information in regards to your Profile, including your reviews, are maintained on the website where they can be actively viewed by other website users. If you have not logged into the site for over 5 years, we will automatically delete your personal information and anonymise any reviews, photos or transactions that you may have.
Device Information and information sent to third parties for advertising or analytical purposes is also retained and regularly used for historic analysis.
Data protection information
The Internet is not secure and any information that you post on it can be collected, disseminated and processed by others.
Data security
You must protect against unauthorised access by ensuring that the email address and password combinations that you use to access SeatPlan remain confidential. If you choose to adopt the automatic login option on SeatPlan, you must ensure that the machine from which you access the site is itself secure since this machine will automatically log any user into the site.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The latest versions will always be available on the site and by using the site, you are accepting the latest version available.
